Tactile Graphics

Lines, Cartesians, TG Guidelines, Oh Yeah!

Description
Presenter: Melissa Klepper, Member, Tactile Graphics Committee

Date: Thursday, August 28, 2025

Description: Welcome back! This session picks up where we left off in May 2025. We’ll dig into real-world examples in both UEB Math and UEB with Nemeth. Get ready to explore side-by-side print and sim-braille tactile graphic samples of Line and Cartesian graphs, plus pick up plenty of practical tips for applying the guidelines to each graph type.

Whether you’ve been transcribing for years or you’re just getting started, this session will boost your confidence in applying Unit 6 of the GSTG to your everyday transcriptions.

Tip: If you missed the May 2025 webinar, be sure to check out the recording in the webinar archives for a quick review of the guidelines.
