Description: When it comes to transcribing the wonderful world of abbreviations, you’ll find they are everywhere. Abbreviations are just words or phrases that are shortened. We will discuss ways to recognize the differences between various types of abbreviations and also focus on how they are pronounced which could make it an initialism, an acronym, or both in order to transcribe them correctly in UEB.
